GE 13: Would Najib abuse the Joker Card (Budget 2012)?

News are abuzz that General Election is definitely around the corner, looking at the statements by  PM and the DPM recently and also looking at all the so called State visits that are being arranged. If you could recall in one of my earlier blog entry more or less a couple of months ago, I did mention that I fathom this year's budget would be extraordinary and it will closely be followed by GE, my lucky guess was GE on 11/11/2011. Now suddenly the  news circle are buzzing again with similar news.

The people on the streets are already suffering from the twin terrors (inflation and increased interest rates), any antidotes would be more than welcomed, so this is the golden opportunity that Najib has been waiting for all this while, he could transform himself into an Icon, an Idol, a Super Hero. I am pretty sure people behind the screen from the Finance Ministry as well as his appointed consultants, will be working around the clock preparing his budget speech, lacing it with bombastic words and fake promises.

Again, I repeat, I strongly believe that it will be a super sweet people friendly budget, too good to be true kinda budget. Najib has nothing left, the budget is his last Joker Card, sink or swim will depends on it. Achievable or not, manageable or not...simple logic would be thrown out of the window....politics is showbiz after-all. Dangling the carrots would entice the rakyat and pull them over to his side...well ...at least that is what he thinks or that's how he is being advised by his consultants.Well I think the rakyat have some news for him and his comrades....you can fool some people some time....you can't fool all the people all the time,,,
