Band of Brothers: If only we could infect the nation....

On Saturday, the 3rd July 2011, the alumni committee of ANSARAKU (ex MARA Junior Science College, Kulim Chapter), organized a futsal tournament somewhere in Petaling Jaya. MJSC Kulim is quite unique since it only had 7 batches before it was upgraded to Kolej MARA Kulim. The futsal event for this year was the sixth edition and it attracted a total of 11 teams representing all the batches (some batches  sent two teams), all of them we're vying for the challenge trophy aptly named Pakcik Mail Cup (named after the late hostel caretaker who was loved by everyone).

What I am proud of, and love to share is the spirit of brotherhood that was displayed and shown throughout the event. We talked, we joked, we laughed, we hugged and damn, we had a jolly good whale of a time.So what?...some of you might be asking....there we're representative from both side's...albeit political side's...there we're the staunchest  supporter's of the preferred parties or side's, we're there any animosity? Hell NO.... to be honest...there we're some political jokes...but...it was taken in good spirits.

For most of us...our brotherhood comes first, we respected each other...we believed in freedom of choice...and the most important thing...for us the brotherhood is not worth to be sacrificed in the name of politics. for a moment, I was thinking to myself, if only we could infect the nation, albeit our beloved Malaysia, whereby everybody respect each other, everyone understand the meaning of freedom of choice, if we could replicate whatever happening on that specific event on a grander scale...if....and only if....it will be a better world...wishful thinking eh?.......everything starts with a dream.....cheers and adios....a.h.baharom..
